IT HURTS TO FEEL IT ALL

Fall already.
Time doesn’t stop, does it? The grim news, the greed, the world refusing to
take a breath. We feel it at home — how could we not? Our inner worlds wrestle with our traumas while the outer world barrels on in total dysfunction.
Life, in its very nature, is what we make it. Our days are full of rises and
plunges. If you know, you know. Each moment contains more than enough to
face: the self, our families, our work, and the endless pull of inner growth. At
times, it’s simply too much.
IT HURTS TO FEEL IT ALL
As a human, I struggle with the balancing act of living. Yes, there are moments of ease. But when darkness comes, I face it honestly, even when it
hurts. I believe that acknowledging my own wounds and who I am because of
them grants me the grace to stand before that monster guarding the door to
growth.
While so many continue to project unprocessed pain onto the wider world, I
ask the Heart-Minded among us to be living examples of what truly matters.
It is not your opinions that matter, or your grasp of politics. What matters is what you know in your heart: that we are connected, that we are capable of more, that we can face our darkest days and learn from them.
Heal yourself, so the world may heal. For how you speak to yourself within is
how you show up in the world.
