END OF SUMMER OFFERING

End of Summer Reflections: Learning to Slow Down in a Fast World
End of summer always brings a soft wave of nostalgia, but this year it hits differently. I had my baby on New Year’s Eve 2022, and now he’s almost two. It’s wild how quickly time moves—especially as we grow older. When we’re young, time feels endless. Maybe it’s because our world is small, or maybe our enthusiasm to learn makes life feel like it stands still.
End of Summer and the Nature of Time
As adults, time speeds up. And with a child, it flies even faster. Add to that the constant presence of our devices—always buzzing, always demanding—and we barely get a moment of true silence. These screens follow us everywhere: work, home, the car, even the quiet corners meant for self-reflection. I’ve felt it in my relationship with myself and with my wife. We’ve become so accessible that we lose the ability to access our own inner voice.
Late Sunday Afternoon was created to counter exactly that. I never imagined I’d start a scarf company, but this unexpected path became my purpose. Our scarves are reminders—ritual tools—that help you reconnect to self, slow down, breathe, and speak kindly to the person within.
Doing the Deeper Work Before Fall Arrives
How we speak internally affects how we speak outwardly. And now, at the end of summer, is the perfect moment to begin the deeper work: reflection, healing, unlearning, learning, and growing into a more mature version of the soul. Darkness is a great teacher. Not always the teacher we choose, but always the one that shapes us into who we are meant to become.
There are people like me willing to support you—people committed to helping heart-minded individuals evolve and cultivate self-love. Late Sunday Afternoon is a home for people who want to grow. As fall rushes in, take a moment to pause, breathe, and reconnect.
