Sonora Mindwerl is an artist and designer whose work bridges the realms of wearable art, visual storytelling, and spiritual expression. She spent her early years on the dusty back roads of Oaxaca, Mexico, and later among the mountains and forests of the Pacific Northwest.

This tapestry of cultural and natural influences deeply informs her creative practice. For Sonora, art is a bridge between the tangible and the intangible, the mythic and the mundane. Creating is when she feels most connected both to herself and to the world.

This collection was created in Taos, New Mexico. Born in the desert- from the smell of snow on sagebrush, the whispers of the old stones, the harsh and beckoning sky. A bone, a plant, a snakeskin shed among the sand- these objects become sacred in the stillness of these open and ancient spaces.

The symbols interwoven through these pieces hope to remind the wearer of their own raw power, their own connection to quiet beauty, and their own deep wells of resilience and wisdom. Desert Mystic- a coyote song calling to the wild moonlight within your own spirit.
