APOLLO X · THE TRAVEL HOODIE

Lights out, anywhere.

Your own quiet, wherever they seat you.

The eye mask lives inside the hood, so it cannot slip off and never gets left behind. Fold it down and the cabin goes dark. Fold it up and it wears like a beanie. Gravity-weight 30oz cotton, knit in Los Angeles.

A NOTE FROM MATTHEW

LOS ANGELES · FALL 2026

Apollo started on a plane.

I wanted something that felt like a protective hug when everything around you does not: an eye mask that would not slip off, and a hood that actually kept me warm. Apollo X is that idea, finished. It is the first thing I pack and the last thing I take off, and most trips I am still wearing it when I walk back through my own front door.

GATE TO GATE

APOLLO X · A TRIP IN SEVEN PARTS

One hoodie, from the curb to the carousel.

  1. I. The curb

Out the door before sunrise. The cloth is dense enough to wear as your layer, so the bag keeps its room for something else.

  2. II. Security

Phone, keys and passport each have a place: the front pouch, the hidden pocket inside it, and two pockets at the side seams. Empty them into the tray, fill them again in a minute.

  3. III. The gate

A delay, a hard chair, a long wait. Pull up the hood, let the extra material cover your ears, and let the terminal go quiet for a while.

  4. IV. Boarding

Cabins run cold. Thumb hole cuffs keep the sleeves over your hands, and 100% cotton keeps you warm without trapping the heat.

  1. V. Lights out

Fold the eye mask down from the hood. It is part of the hoodie, so there is nothing to pack, nothing to lose, nothing to fish out from under the seat.

  2. VI. The window seat

Lean into the padded sleeve. Extra padding along the arms turns the window into somewhere you can actually sleep.

  3. VII. Arrival

Raise the mask and it sits like a beanie. Wipe your glasses on the lens cloth, and walk out looking like you slept. Because you did.

FROM THE PEOPLE WHO TRAVEL IN THEM

  • This Hoodie is amazing, not only for the travel-specific amenities, but it is SOFT, comfortable, durable, substantial and good looking. Makes me feel like I’m getting a comfy hug every time I wear it.

    Kathy B.
  • Eye cover to help decrease light, extra fabric around the ears to decrease sound, perfect for cold weather… AND makes for a very comfortable car pillow when I need to take nap.

    A.M.
  • My most favorite of outfits to keep me warm and snuggled by the fire or comfy on an international flight.

    Marc F.
  • The only requirements I insist on are: comfy enough for long trips and cold nights around a bonfire… this one is Perfect for Both.

    Peg S.
  • Very comfortable, great pockets, the eye mask works! (great for travel), quality material, overall excellent product.

    Samuel L.
  • Its design is very well considered/constructed with small features (eye mask, phone pocket, elbow padding) that distinguish this from any other hoodie. The material is extremely durable and gotten even softer over time/washes.

    Barry G.

BEFORE YOU FLY

Travel questions, answered.

  • Does the eye mask stay on while I sleep?

Yes. It is built into the hood rather than held on by a strap, so it stays put when you shift in your seat. Fold it down for dark, and back up when you land, where it sits like a beanie.

  • Will I overheat on a long flight?

It is 100% cotton, so it breathes. The weight keeps you warm in a cold cabin without trapping the heat, and the thumb hole cuffs let you pull the sleeves down or push them up as the temperature changes.

  • What does gravity-weight 30oz mean?

Ounces are the weight of the cloth: the higher the number, the denser the knit. At 30oz, Apollo X settles on you the way a weighted blanket does. It is knit from 100% cotton in Los Angeles.

  • How does the sizing run?

Apollo X comes in S through XXL. If you like room to layer underneath, or to curl up in it on a long flight, consider sizing up. Between sizes? Write to the studio and we will help you choose.

  • How do I care for it on the road?

Wash cold and inside out, and dry low. It softens with every wash, and every trip.

  • Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship worldwide. Rates are calculated at checkout.

  • What if it is not right for me?

Contact us within 7 days of receipt and we will start an exchange or return. Everything you need is on our Returns page.
