THINGS ARE NOT ALWAYS AS THEY APPEAR
Happy Summer to Everyone,
Yet again, we begin our week with the looming sense of doom projected by the media. Journalism seems to have shifted from investigating stories and uncovering truths to offering observations and speculative commentary.
And somewhere along the way, we started applying this format to our own lives.
Lately, I’ve noticed more people echoing headlines about World War III — as if it’s inevitable, as if it’s already begun. This narrative is toxic to our collective consciousness. It does not serve us as mothers, fathers, elders, friends, or citizens of Earth.
We talk to our therapists, our friends, our spouses — often about the symptoms, not the root causes. Our narratives slowly shift from being about soul growth to becoming stories of victimhood.
What would serve us better is a deeper understanding of historical context — the cycles humanity goes through, the causes seeded long ago, and the consequences that shape us today.
War, invasion, conflict — even genocide — have always been part of human history. To toss around a title like “WWIII” without context is not only irresponsible, it reveals a dangerous absence of perspective.
THINGS ARE NOT ALWAYS AS THEY APPEAR
The deeper truth often lies beneath the surface. We owe it to our families and our communities to look inward — to ask harder questions of ourselves and one another.
We need to examine how we speak, how we think, how we react. It is not enough to talk about peace — we have to create foundations for it in our homes.
Otherwise, we become vessels for fear.
And fear is the product most aggressively marketed by those in power.
So this week, I invite you to step back from the headlines.
Take a breath.
Be the leader your circle needs — grounded, informed, historically conscious.
It is us we have been waiting for.
Do not leave your present or your future in the hands of someone you’ve only heard about on a screen.
Do not wait for the world to catch you.
Live your life.
It is yours to live.
With care,
