Yoga Teacher

Sean has been one of our best ambassadors to date. There is hardly a moment in the day when he's not rocking his LSA scarf, whether he's getting out of the water after a surf or teaching a class of 200 on the Santa Monica pier with his beautiful daughter Sequoia on his arm, the scarf is ever present.

Why Yoga?

Yoga gives me the opportunity to balance, strengthen, and open my body, my mind, my relationships, and my life. All at the same time. I love that sh*t!

Why teaching?

Yoga has changed everything in my life for the better, and I want to share what I’ve learned with others in the hopes that it will affect them in a positive way like it’s affected me. We influence all that are connected to us, and if we are working on improving our own life we ultimately help others do the same through osmosis, creating a more sustainable environment for ourselves and for our communities.

What are your biggest struggles?

In a world, and culture, that is built upon and sustained with duality (separateness) it's very hard to find and create unity (togetherness). It seems as if most people, especially here in LA, are only concerned with themselves and their needs, and are willing to push anybody out of their way to get what they want. Even if that means putting somebody else out. We are ONE. Don’t be an a-hole.

What are your favorite accomplishments?

My life is filled with things that I love to do, with people that I love to do them with. That wasn’t always the case. I used to be trapped in doing the things I thought I was supposed to do, with people I thought I was supposed to do them with, and it was miserable. Now I do my top 3 favorite things I like to do the most for work- yoga, travel, and surf. Next yoga/surf retreat is to Indonesia this fall. And of course, my two beautiful daughters — Jasmine and Sequoia.

What part of your personality are you most thankful for?

My ability to see the brighter side of things, and make the best out of every situation.

What does your favorite or ideal sunday afternoon look like?

Having a good conversation with my favorite people after having spent the day at the beach surfing and playing with my girls.

What gives you hope for the future?

My daughters. They are the future, and if I don’t have hope for it then I’m only a part of the problem and not the solution. They deserve a better world than the one I grew up in.

What would you like to bless the world with? Pick one word.

What excites you about being an LSA ambassador?

I believe in LSA, wholeheartedly. It’s good quality products, made by good quality people, with good quality vibes, to help create good quality lives. I LOVE that sh*t too, and will proudly represent them for being that light in our world.

What are you doing next? How can people get involved?

Get on the mat, and make positive change for themselves. It doesn’t matter where, it doesn’t matter with who, just get on the mat and practice. We're all busy. We all have the same amount of hours in a day. If we don’t take the time to take care of ourselves how can we expect to help anybody else with our utmost ability.

Where are all the places people can learn more about you?
